A family mediator is an impartial professional who supports couples before, during, or after separation, in reaching shared and responsible agreements, protecting family relationships and, when applicable, parental relationships.

Mediation is aimed at married or cohabiting couples, with or without children, in the process of separating or already separated.

Parental Coordination, on the other hand, is an intervention ordered by the Judge in cases of high conflict and focuses on the protection of the minor, helping parents to apply the parenting plan and respond to the needs of their children.
